Supplies Needed:

  • Marble notebook
  • Pens
  • Please have a Bible at home for reference
  • Folder to keep ONLY religion papers year-round (can be one side of a folder)


Grading Policy:  A variety of assessments are used to assess student progress according to Archdiocesan guidelines –

  • Summative Assessments 45% (tests, major projects) 
  • Quizzes 25% (short assessments)
  • Classwork/Participation 20% (class participation, group work, notebook, worksheets)
  • Homework 10% (assigned approximately once a week; grade consists of overall HW grade for completion of assignments; plus collected HW assignments that will be graded individually)
  • PLEASE NOTE:  Assignments are due on the due date.  IF you miss the due date, you have 1 school day to turn in your assignment with points taken off for lateness.  NO assignments will be accepted after this point – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Behavior:  There will be silence upon entering my room as we have much to learn about our faith!  We raise our hand for our turn to speak. We stay in our seats – no wandering about the room.  Bathroom in emergency only- sign in book.  I will not tolerate any disruptions or disrespect to one another at any time.
